Coming to Conclusion

“For if we have lost our minds, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you. For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose on their behalf.” (2 Corinthians 5″13-15 NASB)

Those who live, live for Jesus. Have you come to that conclusion? It is the fact of life. It happens when you believe Christ died for you. Now the life you have is in Him. Eternal life. Can’t get better than that. So, what if you’re not living for Jesus? It would be good to ask yourself, “why not”? Could it be that you’re still struggling with an old life that’s now dead? Prayer and faith will set you free. (Read and believe 1 John 1:9) Free to live as God intends, at peace with Him.

Some would call me crazy, a man who’s lost his mind. Others understand that living for Jesus is life more abundant. (John 10:10) The love of Christ controls me. I want to please Him, don’t you?? Apostle Paul prayed for those he loved. This is my New Year’s prayer for you. I have prayed it for myself. It’s a powerful prayer.

“that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God. “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:16-21 NASB)
