Lessons while Traveling

I am fond of the phrase “obedience of faith,” found in Apostle Paul’s letter to the Romans, 1:5 and 16:26. Paul preached obedience, not to the Law, but obedience brought about by faith in Christ resulting in righteousness (Romans 6:16) God’s revelations (found in the Holy Bible) leads the believer into being obedient to the truth. It is obedience of faith that purifies our soul.

Since you have purified your souls in obedience to the truth for a sincere love of the brothers and sisters, fervently love one another from the heart, for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable, but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.” (1 Peter 1:22 NASB)

I love it when a verse starts this way. “This is what the Lord says: “Guard justice and do righteousness, For My salvation is about to come And My righteousness to be revealed.” (Isaiah 56:1 NASB)
