Psalm 90 is Moses praying to God. This old man began by acknowledging God who was and is and will forever be. By God’s grace he lived one hundred twenty years noticing that man was frail. Seventy to eighty years and he turns to dust. And he knew that God could get really angry. Hear his prayer!
“Who understands the power of Your anger
And Your fury, according to the fear that is due You?
So, teach us to number our days,
That we may present to You a heart of wisdom.” (Vs. 11-12 NASB)
I don’t know the number of my days written in God’s book. (Psalm 139:16) I need Him to teach me to be aware of each one. It is stated that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. In this Age of Grace, I fear for the wisdom of the saints. It is very easy to take time for granted, “So, teach us to number our days.” in Jesus’ name we pray.
