Setting the Record Straight

“For He rescued us from the authority of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” (Colossians 1:13-14)

That is the reality faith shouts out to all the world. “I’ve been rescued! I know it is true. Jesus saved me; I’ve been forgiven.”

And someone from another faith would say, “That’s not true.” Why would anyone say, “There is no need for a savior”? Why can’t they believe in God’s all forgiving love? He humbled Himself by becoming flesh. Why? So that we could see and know the love of the Father who is Spirit. Only Jesus, can rescue a soul from Satan’s dominion. To believe that Jesus is the Son of God is to have come into God’s Light of Redemption.
