Winter’s Garden

“The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones. He had me pass among them all around, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley; and behold, they were very dry. Then He said to me, ‘Son of man, can these bones live?’ And I answered, ‘Lord God, You Yourself know.’ Again He said to me, ‘Prophesy over these bones and say to them, ‘You dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.'” (Ezekiel 37:2-4 NASB)

I’m speaking to everyone. “Hear the word of the Lord.” If the Father delays Christ’s coming many who live today will become dry bones. Just the way it is, skeletons and burnt pieces. “Son of man, can these bones live?” We now have the answer. There is a resurrection.

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh provides no benefit; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.” (John 6:63 NASB) God’s words, spirit and life. Perhaps God’s speaking to someone who’s religion has dried their spirit. Jesus lives, hear His words. “The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires, take the water of life without cost.” (Revelation 22:17 NASB)
