Tending the Garden

Look around! What do you see? How much is it of your doing? Adam was to tend God’s garden. Wow! What a wonderful job that must have been. But Adam got evicted and had to start his own garden. Look around! This is what it has become. Best described as an untended graveyard growing weeds and trees with a scattering of cared for plots. They are the lights of righteousness, shining in a dark place for the blind to see.

The depression of poverty is easy to see. “What difference can I make?” Shine and see. People need hope, make sure their hope is not in you. Hope has to be placed in Jesus. Then the blind will see in the light of Christ, and some will be drawn to Him. Most of the places that our arms can reach our hands can touch to make a better garden.

So, I made a shelter for mason bees to hatch and breed. Their job is to pollinate the fruit trees, bushes and vines. Only saw a few bees here in the foothills last year. Hoping in Jesus that I’m making a difference. Praying that you do too.

“Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate it and tend it.” (Genesis 2:15 NASB)
