“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” The woman said to Him, ‘I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.’ Jesus said to her, ‘I am He, the One speaking to you.'” (John 4:24-26 NASB)
Jesus has declared all things to us. His Words are Spirit and Truth. Mysteries of God explained to those who will hear. So, I listened to others, collecting their knowledge, as I sought to know God. Now their works sit on a shelf, attractive decorations, seldom used to shed their light.
What I am attempting to say is this. God is seeking and Jesus is speaking to all who will listen. In a week or so I’ll turn 77. It took a while, but I finally passed a rigorous course called Corrective Behavior. I now have a diploma that grants to the holder Peace and Joy. Was it stubborn pride or am I just a slow learner? Only God knows.
This I know, as the woman at the well, so too Jesus is now speaking to us. She was amazed. How about you?
