Working on the Sabbath

Before you get all hysterical on me, stop and remember the things Jesus did on the Sabbath. Celebrated my birthday three days early with my two sons. Their gift to me was helping to finishing the greenhouse and treating with hamburgers. Blessed by their presence, we were together.

Usually, Saturday is my day of rest, God said it was good for man to rest. The time is coming, soon but not yet, when Sabbaths and God’s appointed feasts will once again be reinstituted. During Christ’s thousand-year reign both Jew and Gentile will worship Jesus together as one new man. In the meantime, it’s my day of rest.

“Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of armies, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths.” Zechariah 14:16 NASB)

“And it shall be from new moon to new moon
And from Sabbath to Sabbath,
All mankind will come to bow down before Me,” says the Lord.”
(Isaiah 66:23 NASB)

Usually avoid a lot of personal stuff unless it is used to shed light on a verse or two. My purpose in posting is to lift up Jesus and not myself. Not a lot of selfies but making an exception today.
