Absolutely True

My first year with a greenhouse in this cold and rainy area. Today is March 10th and 80% of my 20 seed varieties have popped up. Another 6 weeks and the weather will have changed, (God willing) and the plants will be well rooted before going into the ground. I’m excited. Looking forward to bringing in the produce for my bride to prepare. Some for the neighbors too.

As much as gardening pleases me there is something more satisfying, witnessing to truth. We can all testify to things in the Bible that we know are true. I do it to save others from unnecessary struggles and lack. The Word of God is absolutely true. Don’t believe it? It will prove to be true. Don’t want to acknowledge it? Better now than later. Don’t want to obey it? Well, we have been warned.

“Taste and see that the Lord is good;
How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
Fear the Lord, you His saints;
For to those who fear Him there is no lack of anything.
The young lions do without and suffer hunger;
But they who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing.

Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
Who is the person who desires life
And loves length of days, that he may see good?
 Keep your tongue from evil
And your lips from speaking deceit.
 Turn from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it.”
(Psalm 34:8-14 NASB)

Apostle Peter knew this to be absolutely true and quoted Psalm 34:10-12. He closed the quote with this truth about prayer.

For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous,
And His ears attend to their prayer,
But the face of the Lord is against evildoers.”
(1 Peter 3:10-12 NASB)
