Knowing it’s True

There were godly witnesses

A fool can see this world is full of Liars. We can’t help but hear them as they attempt to conceal the truth. Those in authority spin their stories making sure blame goes somewhere else. Nothing maters more to liars than that you believe them. Actors with their agendas will say anything to support their lies. The most influential liars are educated, rich or both. Pieces of the world are the trophies offered by Satan, the father of lies.

With deception all around, yes, even in Christ’s church, it’s best to hear from the witnesses who were there.

“For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, such a declaration as this was made to Him by the Majestic Glory: “This is My beloved Son with whom I am well pleased”— and we ourselves heard this declaration made from heaven (God’s voice) when we were with Him on the holy mountain.” (2 Peter 1:16-18 NASB)

At His baptism and the place of transfiguration God gave witness that Jesus is His Son. Witnesses at these events gave their testimonies. To believe them is to believe God’s witness and to be made holy through the knowledge of truth. To believe them is to be one with God, witnessing to the world that He sent His Son.

“And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, so that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. I am not asking on behalf of these alone, but also for those who believe in Me through their word, that they may all be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.” (John 17:19-20 NASB)

The world is full of liars and the spirit of antichrist, but in that mix of humanity are lost sheep waiting to hear your witness to truth.
