“Peace be to the brothers and sisters, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love.” (Ephesians 6:23-24 NASB)
Peace, love and faith are a gift from God. We sure did not deserve it. Grace to those who love God’s Son. WITH INCORUPTABLE LOVE! Think about that! Surly every believer has experienced the after taste of falling to temptation. Peace is gone, and love is in doubt until both are restored through faith in Jesus. Best we move on.
“for His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us to His own glory and virtue. Through witch He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world on account of lust.” (2 Peter 1:3-4 NASB)
Jesus has done this for us. Believe His promises and receive of His nature. Jesus has granted to us His divine power to escape corruption, His Holy Spirit. This is reality for those with faith. Oh, we will fall from time to time, but less and less as our love for Christ is purified, becoming incorruptible. “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.”
Neighbor is spring cleaning his gutters and I have been preparing the garden. Enjoying 62 degrees today. God bless each of you abundantly.
