“For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose on their behalf.” (2 Corinthians 5:14-15 NASB)
The human race died at the cross. Those born again are living for Jesus. Best to quickly come to that conclusion. Our sickness caused His death, the whole of mankind died with Him. Acknowledge this truth, the earth if full of the walking dead.
But His Spirit brings words of life to those who once were dead. We are now born again. Yes, the love of Christ constrains us from continuing in sin. To be alive is to live for Him. It’s helpful to remember as Jesus rose, we will too. Perhaps we will meet Him in the air.
