Do you know God’s will?? Surly there is confidence when we know God’s will. The will of the Father, as seen in His Son, is to reveal Himself. God is Spirit. The ones who see and hear are learning His will; they want to know Him. Here are a few thoughts that have helped me to better know the will of God.
Number one way to know the will of God. Listen to His Son who spoke according to the instructions of His Father.
“So, Jesus said, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am, and I do nothing on My own, but I say these things as the Father instructed Me.” (John8:28 NASB)
Repenting and submitting to His will that you know. Behaving according to His will is the best way to know His will. A special kind of knowledge comes from experiencing God’s will in our own life.
“This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.” (1 John 5:14-15 NASB)
Our very circumstances are according to God’s will, so pray accordingly. “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NASB)
