Committed to stay the course until the very last day, if my God so chooses. Preparing to stay put as I wait on the Lord. A Nigerian saint reminded me today of the great tribulation. Most Christians are comfortably asleep dreaming of a rapture happening before it gets bad. My friends will ask, “How bad does it have to be before we can call it “The Beginning of the Great Tribulation”?
THERE WILL BE BAD
“For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will again.” (Matthew 24:21 NASB)
HE WILL SHOW HIMSELF
“For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.” (Matthew 24:27-28 NASB)
AFTER THE TRIBULATION
“But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet blast, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.” (Matthew 24:29-31 NASB)
God’s children in Nigeria and other nations are now experiencing Satan’s wrath. The burning and killing has begun. If not the beginning of the tribulation told by Jesus, then, how bad will bad have to be??? I pray you are committed to stay the course whatever that course might be. A prudent man prepares as best he can and shares the Good News with his neighbors. My next project, building on to the chicken coup.
