Seems like there are lots of experts teaching the word of God. False prophets deceive and then falsely repent so that they can deceive more than before. Neither opinion nor deception, hear God’s truth, “My words will not pass away.” Best to take them at face value. God is not trying to hide any good thing from us, and His warnings are for our own good. He means just what He says, no more nor less. Let Jesus be your teacher.
“Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.” (Matthew 24:34-35 NASB)
“All these things” must occur for it to be humankind’s last generation. I will leave Jesus’ list of things up to my readers to find and read for themselves. My purpose today is to proclaim the certainty of Christ’s words, His testimony, is the spirit of prophecy that declares, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh provides no benefit; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.” (John 6:63 NASB)
His word is the truth we need to live. Abide in His word, live it, and you will never be deceived. Considering the extent of the rejection of God’s Son, is it any wonder that so many are lost through deceit?
It will take time being watered and fed for these flowery vines to climb their branches. The gardener is patiently looking forward to the beauty envisioned. God too is now patiently looking upon the beauty He envisioned, watered and fed by His Spirit and Word.
