Water illustrations describe the intimate and healing relationship between the Creator, the Jesus-believer and the future nations. Remember? Christ told the Samaritan woman that if she asked, He would give her living water. “but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.” (John 4:14 NASB) “The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'” (John 7:38 NASB) The spring becomes rivers.
God is Spirit and His word is living. It’s good to dwell on His words throughout the day, and I do when working with my little projects. This one is preparing to take advantage of our heavy rains. Enough slope to build a little waterfall. Something to watch from our window on those rainy days. I pray your relationship is intimate and springing up to eternal life with God and the Lamb.
“And he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bondservants will serve Him; (Revelation 22:1-3 NASB)
