“Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and the nursing infants. Have the groom come out of his room And the bride out of her bridal chamber.” (Joel 2:16 NASB)
“Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.” (John 7:17 NSAB)
“And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, so that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.“ (John 17:19 NASB)
“so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.” (Ephesians 5:26-27 NASB)
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will do it.” (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 NASB)
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16 NASB) And I am not ashamed of the Holy Spirit’s work of sanctification in those who are saved by the Blood of Christ. Those who believe the Spirit of Truth are the Lord’s church being made holy. God still creates through His word. We are changed. That’s the good news.
