Don’t Get Me Wrong

Lately my posts are much about holiness and personal responsibility called obedience to Christ’s words, His will. I understand salvation being God’s doing when we believe in the name of His Son. Salvation is received by believing the word which is truth and life. Faith is trusting what God says is reality. When we believe Him our Creator’s Holy Spirit shines a bright light on us, or so it seems, revealing the places in our lives we would rather not see. I don’t know about you, but I had a lot of NEEDING God to change me. It’s ruff, I know, but so worth it, and it becomes easy when we finally truly want Jesus to free us.

Blessed are those whose way is blameless,
Who walk in the Law of the Lord.
Blessed are those who comply with His testimonies,
And seek Him with all their heart.
They also do no injustice;
They walk in His ways.
You have ordained Your precepts,
That we are to keep them diligently.
Oh, that my ways may be established
To keep Your statutes!
Then I will not be ashamed
When I look at all Your commandments.
I will give thanks to You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments.
I will keep Your statutes;
Do not utterly abandon me!”
(Psalm 119:1-8 NASB)

Our Saviour will never abandon the work of His hands, we are the children of God.
