Those who have not received God’s light are in the dark. Creation declares that God is, but some choose the dark by avoiding obvious truth. So, He sent His Son, Light shining on reality. Praise God, without Him we are lost in the dark, but with Him we see.
“This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:5-7 NASB)
Practice the truth! It’s as simple as that. Remember you’re practicing, there is much to learn as we walk with our Lord. Praise God for fellowship with those of like mind, sharing faith of the same kind. Jesus’ blood accomplished Good News for us. So, repent and believe, if you have been avoiding. It’s not only once this cleansing of His. God is kind and patient with those who practice truth, so walk in His Light away from all sin.
