That is what you should see when looking in God’s mirror. Faith believes the words of Christ, and Light makes hidden things visible, even the bad stuff. The face of faith won’t run but stays, and truth improves our vision. Staring back is the face of a child dependent on God, His Father.
“With all my heart I have sought You.
Do not let me wander from Your commandments.
I have treasured Your word in my heart,
So that I may not sin against You.
Blessed are You, Lord.
Teach me Your statutes.
With my lips I have told of
All the ordinances of Your mouth.
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches.
I will meditate on Your precepts
And regard Your ways.
I shall delight in Your statutes.
I will not forget Your word.” (Psalm 119:10-16 NASB)
Need a new look? These kinds of faces happen only one way. “So, faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.” (Romans 10:17 NASB) “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28 NASB)
