In the Presence of His Glory

“Now to Him who is able to protect you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory, blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority before all time and now and forever. (To all the ages) Amen.” (Jude 1:24-25 NASB)

Have you figured out by now that only Jesus is able to save us. Not our good deeds, nor only a few bad ones. High or low numbers will not sway the Creator to keep us. His terms? Believe! Belief in His name is the beginning of faith, so what’s in a name that we can believe? Emanuel: “God with us.” (Isaiah 7:14) Jesus, Joshua: Yahoshua in Hebrew and Yeshua in Aramaic: They all mean “God is salvation”. There is no better news than the meaning of His name to those desiring God’s love and forgiveness.

Someday Believers will stand in the presence of His glory, blameless and with great joy. Until then, Jesus is able to protect us from stumbling. God gave us His word! “Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.”
(Psalm 119:105 NASB)
