Writers have voices, prophets are the voice of God. Writers entertain and explain, prophets say what God wants us to hear. Isaiah Has a lot to say about the future.
“On that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah:
‘We have a strong city.
He sets up walls and ramparts for security. (Salvation)
Open the gates, that the righteous nation may enter,
The one that remains faithful.
The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace,
Because he trusts in You.
Trust in the Lord forever,
For in God the Lord, we have an everlasting Rock. Isaiah 26:1-4
This prophetic song includes end time instructions along with God’s promise to the faithful.
“Come, my people, enter your rooms
And close your doors behind you.
Hide for a little while (moment)
Until indignation runs its course. (passes over)
For behold, the Lord is about to come out from His place
To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their wrongdoing;
And the earth will reveal her bloodshed
And will no longer cover her slain.” (Isaiah26:20-21 NASB)
How do we stay out of harm’s way when our world is falling apart? Trust and obey. Living faith. There is no other way. Jesus showed us the way, He is the way. Follow His lead.
Today more than 70% of Pakistan is under flood. People, homes and their means of survival washed away. An agriculture nation in ruins. Inflation is about to roar. Disease soon to spread ravaging the children. Christian converts, in rural Hindu communities, are being blamed for this tragedy. Neighbors believe their gods are angry that they are no longer worshiped. Pakistan is crumbling along with its neighboring nations. War, famine, pestilence and death may seem far away, but it will come to all nations. Be steadfast trusting the Lord and He will keep you in perfect peace.
