For Dark Times
Even when the darkest of times come to our life believers have Christ’s light in them. His words give promise of better days, days without end. Hope that neither man nor circumstances can overcome.
“His disciples said, ‘See, now You are speaking plainly and are not using any figure of speech. Now we know that You know all things, and that You have no need for anyone to question You; this is why we believe that You came forth from God.’
Jesus replied to them, ‘Do you now believe? Behold, an hour is coming, and has already come, for you to be scattered, each to his own home, and to leave Me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.
These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation but take courage; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:29-33 NASB)
Jesus came from God. Multitudes of humanity reject Him, always have and always will, up to the end of this age. Wow! God has been patient. I’m praying that He does not have to display His patience much longer. I know stuff. I know evil when I see it, and I see it pretty much all over. For times like these, Jesus left us with these words. “I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.” The Father did not leave Jesus but suffered through His sacrifice for you and me. I’m convinced God will do the same for all who love His Son.
Got Peace? I hope that you do.
