Looking for a solution?
One reason saints read little of scripture, when they have free time, is unsettled conviction. Yes, saints get convicted! We were chosen to be sanctified by God’s Holy Spirit. Made holy. Easy to see where the problem lies. Avoiding God is not the answer, agree with His Spirit and believe in His help. From my perspective that is 1 John 1:9 in action. Know it by heart!
I’m preaching for a reason, that others may know the way to joy. It is found in the Scriptures. So, why neglect what’s best. The mighty right hand of the Lord is Jesus, God’s anointed, our saving strength; And our King will answer when we call.
“Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed.
He will answer him from His holy heaven
With the saving strength of His right hand. (mighty deeds of the victory of His right hand)
Some praise their chariots and some their horses,
But we will praise the name of the Lord, our God.
They have bowed down and fallen,
But we have risen and stood upright.
Save, Lord.
May the King answer us on the day we call.” (Psalm 20:6-9 NASB)
