Birds of the sky, the length our lives and lilies of the field are examples Jesus gave to teach how things work in God’s kingdom. (Matthew 6:25-33) Life improves when we believe what Jesus is teachings.
“Do not worry then, saying, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But (continually) seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be (added) provided to you.” (Matthew 6:31-33 NASB)
We have heard repent and believe the gospel of the kingdom, now we are told to seek His kingdom and His righteousness. “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-8 NASB) Well, that’s positive.
