Open Letter to Muslims

Many are studied in religion

You have questions for Christians that are good and revealing. Your attempt to disprove my faith with questions shows your lack of faith in the Lord God Jesus and supports my faith in Him. Your questions show that you do not understand the purpose of God becoming a man, nor faith that accepts the mystery of unity in the Godhead.

Have you not been convinced that you are a sinner in need of mercy? Do you not know that God is perfectly just? Do you have an answer to your predicament, a sinner before a Holy God? Do you think that your good deeds can buy favor and blot out your selfish, lustful and greedy thoughts and ways? You are a man like all men, guilty before God. Now hear the good news! The love of God for His creation provided a remedy for man’s terribly dreadful situation. One that required death for justice to be satisfied.

God came Himself in the person of His Son to remedy mankind’s dilemma by paying the penalty for sin. He is God, who can say He cannot be and do as He will? Because He was innocent, perfect in His ways, death could not hold Him. Jesus rose again to be the Savior of those who would believe that God would do this for them. That He would be their Father.

If you cannot believe in a God who would do such a thing for you, a sinner, then answering your faithless questions is pointless. I pray that you have a heart that acknowledges the truth of your own condition. that revelation of self is meant to turn you to God who offers grace through His Son, my Lord Jesus. Do that and God’s grace will shed Christ’s light on you and your questions.

Here is a mystery understood by faith.

“The glory which You have given Me I also have given to them, so that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and You loved them, just as You loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17:22-24 NASB)
