“Now in those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus, that a census be taken of all the inhabited earth.” (Luke 2:1 NASB)
Caesar Augustus’ authority was limited to the Roman Empire. Collecting data then was very different than the way it’s collected now. Gathered, compiled and stored digitally waiting for the one to be given authority. No escaping reality, although many try. “So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the purpose for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11 NASB) That’s AUTHORITY! Be glad you’re on the winning side. Like pieces of a puzzle, advancements have come together according to a plan. As events unfold continue in faith, God will have His way.
“Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or trouble, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? Just as it is written: (Psalm 44:22)
‘For Your sake we are killed all day long.
We were regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.’
But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:35-39 NASB)
