The cost of grace.
For the longest time I have been administering the medicine that healed me, to you, my reader. I was in really bad shape requiring a long period of spiritual rehabilitation revealing the patience of God and proving His, “I will never leave you.” kind of love. The One who died, because of sin, endured many years of my wrong thinking and bad behaviors (sin) while His word slowly changed my thoughts and ways. Grace. If you believe in Jesus, you have been given the right to become a child of God. (John 1:12)
“Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope set on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.” (1 John 3:2-3 NASB)
What we will be
Children who hope in God’s grace purify themselves, and one day will be like Jesus who glorifies His Father. “Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 1:13 NASB)
Storms leave their own definition of “windfall”, “a mess of debris” needing to be cleaned up. The profit is in the exercise God surely intended for me. “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NASB) God bless you abundantly.
