How do things work in my Father’s kingdom?
I want to know that I know what I’m reading so, I usually take lots of small bites. Chapters are good and books even better, but I need to slow down and listen to what God’s Spirit is saying to me.
“No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us. By this we know that we remain in Him and He in us, because He has given to us of His Spirit. We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.” (1 John 4:12-14 NASB)
I pray for what appears to be revival beginning to sweep across a divided nation. There is need to identify which one as many nations are divided, even to experiencing civil war. I’m in the USA where a splintered people are hearing the voice of God. One young man publicly confessed in chapel to God before his peers. I guess he was tired of walking without God. The other sinning saints started praying and repenting and crying and praising Christ Jesus in song. People are pouring into this college chapel and grounds 24/7 and is spreading to other cities and states.
I’m praying for the Holy Spirit to revive where there is life. That those who believe in His name would repent to be revived in renewed relationship with their Father. I’m praying for the Holy Spirit to open the eyes and ears of the curious who are coming from miles away. Witnesses are plentiful and the gospel of God’s kingdom is being declared so, save the curious! Bring them to their knees.! Expose the enemy by the light of Your word, for he would try to take over. All these things I ask is Your Son’s most holy name.
Tonight, we will be uncertain of what will be in the sandwich we will be eating. The seed packet said spinach, but Vicki thinks it’s lettuce. Seeds do get mixed up in packaging. Either way I am looking forward to it being the bed on the bread for tomato and mayonnaise. It is my blessing and a wonder to be able to grow something from seed. Look what happens with God’s seed!
