All about truth.
Stand firm, secured with truth. Jesus is our breastplate of righteousness protecting our heart. We are preparing or have prepared to bring God’s gospel of peace to all who enter our life. Our shield is faith in Jesus, who will extinguish all flaming arrows sent by the evil one (those negative thoughts not our own or the temping through our flesh). Don’t forget to wear your helmet of salvation (Jesus saved you) and be ready with the sword of His Spirit, which is the word of God. We are at war! (Ephesians 6)
“Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now, salvation is nearer to us than when we first believed. The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore, let’s rid ourselves of the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. The night is almost gone, and the day is near.” (Romans 13:11-12 NASB)
I think it best to prepare spiritually, for the coming of the Lord, but I also prepare for tomorrow, if God wills for me, or the world, to have a tomorrow. For me, long distant preparation is to overcoming dark days with more light in the greenhouse. Additional power is required. I am so very thankful to God who enables with health, projects and materials to keep me busy. I love planting seed in soil, the word of God in my readers and praying there is growth.
