“By this the love of God was revealed in us, that God has sent His only Son into the world so that we may live through Him.” (1 John 4:9 NASB)
Very powerful words tell us how much we are loved. This is how the invisible God of Abraham revealed His love. He provided a way so that we might live. “Life more abundant” (John 10-10), is what Jesus said! That I might know His love, that has been my prayer. A daily thing. Real and visible through eyes of faith. Nothing better than living through Jesus.
God loves puppies too. Why else would He have this old man running around playing tag with Comfy? Because it’s fun, she loves the game and so do I.
