God to Joshua
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified nor dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9 NASB)
Yahshua to God
“I am not asking on behalf of these alone, but also for those who believe in Me through their word, that they may all be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.” (John 17:20-21 NASB)
Me to You
“Those who believe in Me” are the ones Jesus mentioned to His Father. So, the prayer concerns me and you, if you believe in Him. He was asking that we be glorified. To be One in God the Father and God the Son Holy in Spirit without separation. “The Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” So, like Joshua be strong and courageous, Jesus wants the world to believe and to know God’s love.
Jesus wants us to know
“Righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me; and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” (John 17:25-26 NASB)
In Conclusion
“Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.” (John 14:23 NASB) Amazing grace to all who dare to follow. Something to think about. I love you.
