I’m talking about our Lord’s testimony.
Perhaps it is little understood. Once we do, we are not ashamed to open our mouth telling others the good news. When we understand how good this news is, it seems wrong to not want to share it. Holding back robs us of joy. Make no room for the thief.
“Therefore, do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God, who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was granted to us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,” (2 Timothy 1:8-9 NASB)
Apostle Paul was suffering for the gospel’s sake. Many believers still do, while others, like me, have it pretty easy. I cannot explain why that is, nor do I know what tomorrow will bring. What I do know is that God has His purpose for us, and if we believe the Lord’s testimony, all that happens will be to our good. So, why not tell everyone God decided, from all eternity, to love those who believe the testimony of His Son.
The ditch needs to be filled, but the lights are on, and I’ve got a big jump on Spring. Planting seed and watching it grow is my pleasure, but better is scattering the seed of God. Love you.
