People of God

Listen up!

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Beloved, I urge you as foreigners and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts, which wage war against the soul. Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may because of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God on the day of visitation.” (Christ coming again in Judgement) (1 Peter 2:9-12 NASB)

God chose us to be priests, His holy possession with a job to do. A job that has everything to do with people being saved through hearing and seeing the acts of God through you.

Started planting my way down to the bottom of the hill. Trusting God for His blessings on the work of my hands. We tend to the soil, plant the seed and water. That’s the best we can do, God shines His light and causes the growth. So, I write. God bless the work of our hands.
