God of Hope

Hope is a gift, like faith it must be received. The God of hope offers it to us, and just like His love you have to accept it. Yep, I said it, “have to.” It is necessary. You are not going to have this gift if you seek it from another source.
Your family can forsake you, friends will fail you, employers can fire you, governments will deceive you, politicians can tax you, lawyers will sue you ….. and judges!!!???, there is only ONE who is just. He offers hope, a longing to be satisfied …. the tree of life. It makes no sense to ignore this gift, its lack sickens the heart. But hope in God’s word will bring rest to your soul.
“Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from Him. Truly He is my Rock and my salvation: He is my fortress, I will not be shaken.”
(Psalm 62:5-6)
“My soul faints with longing for your salvation, but I have put my hope in your word.”
(Psalm 119:81)
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”
(Romans 15:13)
