Call it an investment.
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, Bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits;” (Psalm 103:1-2)
Stop for a moment and “Bless the Lord” with me. Trust me, it will be time well spent. “His benefits” are costly gifts to be greatly appreciated. We have been pardoned, and our spirit is being healed from the damage caused by a fatale disease called “sin.” We have been redeemed from the grave.
Not only that, we are now treated kindly with love and compassion. He is ready to give us the desires of our heart, satisfying us with good things, if we are committed to Him. So remember these “benefits” and rise up renewed blessing His holy name.
If you need to take more than a minute to be refreshed then ponder the rest of Psalm 103. I have only touched on the first few verses. Bless the Lord, for He has blessed you.
