Gleaners in God’s Fields

Seeking the missed.

Do you think that with all this bad and terribly evil stuff going on that God might be looking at his watch? I’m hoping there is still fruit to harvest, and that just before the sickle sweeps away the tares God will send gleaners into His fields. Seeking those missed or not ready to hear. Surly the time of the Gentiles is nearing its end; God’s attention will then turn back to His chosen people. An angel told the shepherds God’s good news. (Luke 2:10) Now it’s our turn, don’t be afraid. It’s good news.

“How delightful on the mountains
Are the feet of one who brings good news,
Who announces peace
And brings good news of happiness,
Who announces salvation,
And says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!'”
(Isaiah 57;2 NASB)

“How then are they to call on Him in whom they have not believed? How are they to believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher? But how are they to preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!” (Romans10:14-15 NASB)

I pray this age is almost over and that one of glory will begin. But more important to Jesus is that I plead with my Father for more gleaners to be sent into picked over fields. (Luke 10:2) So, just letting you know what’s on my mind. Hope you’re pleading too.
