Like the Wind

Life in the Spirit.

“Trust in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD; and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He will do it.” (Psalm 37:3-5)

The last four posts, “Leadership”, ‘Preparing to be Sharing”, “Unity” and “Precious Talents” were written as outlines for my talks in Pakistan. I am praying for a special anointing of God’s Spirit because I am not a preacher. I am just a man who reads the Scriptures and believes what I read. I am not an entertainer called to man the stage for 30 minutes, so I am praying that the Spirit will hold their attention. The topics, “Born-Again Christian”, “Unity”, “Christian Leadership” and “Stewardship” were chosen for me by our host, Sajid Azeem Paul.

Last year Vicki and I were tourists. We first enjoyed a delayed honeymoon visiting several Western European countries, where Christianity is on its last legs. Cathedrals are now museums and churches are turned into offices and apartment buildings. That Fall we went to Israel, my long held desire was fulfilled. We saw the sea where Jesus walked and more than one empty tomb. It was the season of Sukkot, and we heard Messianic Jews worshiping our Savior at the Garden Tomb. Both Europe and Israel declared the late hour of planet earth.

No longer are we tourists following our desires, Christ has given us something greater. His desires have been placed in our heart, to reach the unreached, to touch the untouchables and to declare the acceptable year of the Lord. Pray for those in far off places who hunger for the truth. May they be filled with the Spirit of God.

I’m a writer who writes nothing new, just a copy-boy for the Lord. His Book is true and I wont change a thing. I couldn’t imagine anything more amazing that the story God tells. Commit your life to Him. Trust Him and He will give you something new, desires that belong to Him. May the Father bless your day.
