It helps to know some things in times like these. Wars and rumors of wars, with Christians searching the Scriptures wanting to know the details. My job is pointing out the truly important stuff.
God wanted to have children; His seed is His word. Received by the soul, life springs forth as God gives birth to children. Then Jesus takes over by raising children in the knowledge of His Father. That is what changes us, knowing God. Our Father knows what we cannot see, WHO WE WILL BE, but we are told we will be like Him. That is the important stuff, knowing our Father who gives us this hope.
“See how great a love the Father has given us, that we would be called children of God; and in fact, we are. For this reason, the world does not know us: because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope set on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.” (1 John 3:1-3 NASB)
Faith, Hope and Love is the “stuff” of these verses. God blesses!
